The clock design was inspired by the movement of the sun and moon. The small, clear dimple on the clock face allows light to cast on it and create a shadow, which is the hour hand.
This masterpiece clock was designed in 1988 by renowned designer Kazuo Kawasaki and has withstood the test of time. Till date it is still in production and winning numerous designer awards.
